Field Test and Numerical Simulation of a New Layered Structure

To study the attenuation and dispersion effect of a new protective structure distribution layer constructed with hollow particle composite material on shock wave, similar model field explosion test was carried out in this paper. The numerical simulation tests under different conditions by using finite element program 3D/LS-DYNA results were used for verification. experimental showed that same charge conditions, shell-shielding above hollow-shell greatly deformed damage more serious than yellow sand, which had an obvious wave. Under condition, stress peak at bottom empty shell 0.47 times sand position; wave rose pulse width increased, effect. no overall comminution damage, improved secondary anti-explosion ability structure.
